Freeze for at least 2 hours. It may be left in freezer indefinitely until ready for use. Put it in cover and place on affected area for 15-20 minutes. ٭Do not use on areas of the body where sensation is reduced or on children, patients, or clients who cannot remove the Natural Hot/Cold Therapy Pack themselves. Remove Ziploc freezer bag before microwaving. Natural Hot/Cold Therapy Pack For Heat Therapy Place in clean microwave. Microwave the 21 inch by 6 inch pack for 1 to 2 minutes. Microwaves vary, adjust accordingly. Never leave unattended, and always test temperature before using. The pack should feel warm, not hot, to the touch. Do not overheat. ٭Do not use on children, patients, or clients who cannot remove the pack themselves or move away from the pack. Do not use on areas of the body where heat cannot be felt or areas of reduced sensation. Do not use with medicated ointment, lotion or cream ٭Do not use heat on injuries that have occurred in the last 48 to 72 hours. Use cold therapy. Do not use on open wounds or damaged skin. If you have an injury or illness, always consult your doctor. Cleaning Instructions Your Natural Hot/Cold Therapy Pack is made by my Mom, Lyndell. It is pre-washed 100% cotton muslin filled with whole feed corn. The cover is made of pre-washed 100% cotton, with silk ribbon. All materials are safe, hypoallergenic, and microwavable. Removable Cover: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low and remove promptly. (Have extra covers available to use incase one is dirty, to avoid interruption of use.) Corn Filled Muslin Insert: Spot clean, being careful not to get the corn wet. If it gets wet it may spoil. Why We Use Corn We chose feed corn for our Natural Hot/Cold Therapy Pack because it is the safest product and it holds its heat longer than other grains. Why not Aromatherapy? A lot of people are sensitive or may be allergic to aromatherapy products. We do have Aromatherapy Mists available to mist your Natural Hot/Cold Therapy Pack after it is heated.
